The Organization’s Mission
Founded in 2000, Kapihan Youth Organization - KYO was established with an aim to provide youth in the greater San Francisco area a nurturing environment in which they can embrace their identity and reach their fullest potential. As the leading Youth Organization, we strive to inspire action and support our community’s young people with purposeful programming and devoted mentors.
At Kapihan Youth Organization - KYO, we care about what we do and hope to develop strong children, families and communities across the city through academic readiness, character development, and social enrichment activities.

Kapihan Youth Organization - KYO sees the value in providing the city’s youth with all the tools, resources, and support they need in order to reach their potential.
